Young volunteer honored
Tanner Rosenbaum, 13, was awarded a new
set of waders and wading boots (that really
fit) and an EYTU membership for his
distinguished service over the years during
the annual fish rescue. Tanner helped every
day this fall, and brought young friends. His
enthusiasm and true concern for trout
energize all volunteers.
Dave Sweet honored by TU
National
Past EYTU president, Dave Sweet received
the highest volunteer honor at TU's annual
meeting September 14th. The
Distinguished Service Award 2011
recognizes Dave's outstanding contribution
to the mission of TU. Earlier this year Dave
was named Special Project Manager for
Save the Yellowstone Cutthroat, a

Timber Creek Riparian Project Promoted by Field & Stream Magazine
EYTU was awarded a partial grant of $5,000 for our revegetation project on Timber Creek, a
This spring members collected willow cuttings for transplant on the Timber Creek site to
revegetate. Meeteetse Adopt-A-Trout students and EYTU members along with members of the
public planted 2000 cuttings. Replanting on May 7 was sponsored in part by Toyota and Field &
Stream Magazine's Hero For a Day Program. Video below.

2012 Irrigation Canal Fish Rescue

A total of 6180 fish were saved in 11 days, and returned to the Shoshone River during our 2012 irrigation canal salvage. Thanks to all who volunteered.
