Soldier Creek Campout - Habitat Work

Soldier Creek, Big Horn Mountains, was shallow and out of it's banks - poor habitat for fish. Some years ago logs were placed in the creek to remedy this.

In 2008 it was our job to remove them, exposing better habitat and good fishing.

We returned in 2018 to repair the livestock exclusion fence protecting the meadow.

Summer 2019 volunteers will lengthen the fencing. Yearly campouts over the years, better fishing.
